Logvento Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Logvento (we). Logvento provides point-of-sale (POS), inventory management, and social media publishing services to help businesses manage stock, sales, and multi-channel storefront presence.

By creating an account or using Logvento in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

2. Definitions

  • User: any individual who accesses or uses the Platform, including store owners, staff, and administrators.

  • Store: a business account created on Logvento through which inventory, sales, and publishing activity is managed.

  • Platform: the Logvento software, website, applications, and related services.

  • Services: all features offered by Logvento, including POS, inventory management, and social media publishing.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering a Store and keep that information up to date.

4. Accounts

  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

  • You must keep your login credentials (including passwords) confidential and must not share them with unauthorized parties.

  • You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any illegal activity or in violation of applicable laws.

  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other users' accounts.

  • Upload or transmit malicious content, including viruses, malware, or harmful code.

  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to disrupt other Stores' use of the Platform.

Violation of this section may result in suspension or termination of your account under Section 11.

6. Store Data

  • You retain ownership of your business data, including inventory records, sales data, and customer information ("Store Data").

  • You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the Store Data you input into the Platform.

  • We process Store Data as necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the Services, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Payments (Future-Ready)

These terms apply once paid subscriptions are introduced:

  • Subscription terms: access to certain features may require a paid subscription plan, details of which will be made available on the Platform.

  • Billing: subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually) unless otherwise stated.

  • Taxes: fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which are your responsibility unless we are required by law to collect them.

  • Cancellation: you may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no partial refunds are provided unless required by law.

8. Third-Party Integrations

  • Logvento integrates with third-party services, including Facebook, Instagram, and (in the future) Google services, to enable social media publishing and related features.

  • Your use of these integrations is also subject to the respective third party's own terms of service and policies.

  • We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of third-party services.

9. Intellectual Property

  • The Platform, including its software, design, features, and branding, is owned by JoeBryan and is protected by intellectual property laws.

  • Users retain ownership of content they upload to the Platform (e.g., product images, descriptions, marketing content), and grant us a limited license to use it solely to provide and operate the Services.

10. Service Availability

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform.

  • The Platform may be unavailable at times due to scheduled maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues. We will aim to provide advance notice of planned maintenance where possible.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months (or a reasonable nominal amount if no payments were made).

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business, arising from your use of the Platform.

  • We do not guarantee that use of the Platform will prevent all business losses, including those arising from inventory errors, third-party service outages, or user error.

12. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or harmful activity, or as required by law.

  • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or through account settings.

  • Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ends immediately; you may request an export of your Store Data within [30] days of termination, after which it may be deleted.

13. Changes to the Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice.

  • Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
